چکیده

has been generally observed [1,2]. Here Yi(N,Z) are the fragment yield for systems i=1,2 with different neutron and proton composition. α, β are isoscaling parameters. As discussed in refs. [3-5], the isoscaling parameters and the symmetry energy coefficient are closely related. For a multifragmentation regime, as pointed out in Ref. [6], this relation is given by: ( ) ( ) T A Z a Z sym / / 4 2 ∆ = α (2)

Heavy-residue isoscaling as a probe of the symmetry energy of hot fragments

The isoscaling properties of isotopically resolved projectile residues from peripheral collisions of Kr (25 MeV/nucleon), Ni (25 MeV/nucleon) and Xe (20 MeV/nucleon) beams on various target pairs are employed to probe the symmetry energy coefficient of the nuclear binding energy. The present study focuses on heavy projectile fragments produced in peripheral and semiperipheral collisions near th...

Isotope analysis in central heavy ion collisions at intermediate energies

Symmetry energy is a key quantity in the study of the equation of state of asymmetric nuclear matter. Heavy ion collisions at low and intermediate energies, performed at Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro and Laboratori Nazionali del Sud, can be used to extract information on the symmetry energy coefficient Csym, which is currently poorly known but relevant both for astrophysics and for structure ...

Systematic study of isoscaling behavior in projectile fragmentation by the statistical abrasion-ablation model

The isospin effect and isoscaling behavior in projectile fragmentation have been systematically investigated by a modified statistical abrasion-ablation (SAA) model. The normalized peak differences and reduced isoscaling parameters are found to decrease with (Zproj −Z)/Zproj or the excitation energy per nucleon and have no significant dependence on the size of reaction systems. Assuming a Fermi...

Semiclassical simulations of peripheral heavy-ion collisions at Fermi Energies and the sensitivity to the density dependence of the nuclear symmetry energy

During the last several years we have undertaken a systematic study of heavy residues formed in quasi-elastic and deep-inelastic collisions near and below the Fermi energy. The original motivation of these studies was the understanding and the optimization of the production of very neutron-rich rare isotopes in these collisions [1,2,3]. In parallel, we became motivated to pursue these studies f...

Dynamical and sequential decay effects on isoscaling and density dependence of the symmetry energy

The isoscaling properties of the primary and final products are studied via isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model and the followed sequential decay model GEMINI, respectively. It is found that the isoscaling parameters α of both primary and final products keep no significant change for light fragments, but increases with the mass for intermediate and heavy products. The dyna...
